The latter further bifurcates into Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge O level. Cambridge Advanced is for 6-19 years old, who need to study for higher education. This is achieved through two Programs-Cambridge International AS and A level and Cambridge Pre-U.

The best feature of this education system is that students can directly apply to foreign colleges, which sometimes fails to recognize ICSE or CBSE. Its strength is that it offers a more detailed and advanced curriculum to students.

IB

International Baccalaureate or IB is the latest buzzword in global school education. Focusing on holistic development in a child rather than mere academics is what this system is all about. The system comprises of three levels, PYP or Primary Year Program for KG-5th, MYP (Middle Year Program) up to class 10th and DP or Diploma Program for 11th and 12th.

The plus point of this globally fulfilling education system is that it is recognized by most of foreign universities, by UNESCO and Council of Europe. The curriculum focuses on application and experimentation, leading to the growth of a child’s creative and critical thinking.
